Badavca is the name for a source of drinking water and the karst bay in the region of the Municipality of Višnjan, at the level where it borders with the Southern area of the Municipality of Karojba. In the natural surroundings of a picturesque landscape, a unique paradise for artists, poets, birds and all good-willed people, by the legendary source of live water, mentioned in 740 in the Istrian Doomsday Book, to which are linked many spoken stories and symbols; poets, prosaists and lovers of good literature gather there every year on the last Sunday in May.
