In 2006, the first gathering was held under the name of «Bread festival days», at which over 30 bread items were exhibited of all imaginable shapes, flavours and aromas. All the hard-working little and big bakers were presented with appropriate certificates.
Following the tasting of the exhibited bread products with some olive oil and salt cod pâté, accompanied by a glass of the top local wine-makers' wine, the audience voted by inserting their votes into the voting box, and the winners of the first gathering were pronounced.
