Ancient oak tree – Oak tree "medunac"
The Višnjan oak tree "medunac" is 1 km from the crossroads of the local road Porec - Pazin and the main road Trieste-Pula. It belongs to the family of so-called "oak medunac" (Quercus pubescens Wild), and is very important, since its estimated age is 160 years. It is 18 m high and its estimated radius is between 130 and 136 cm. It is proposed that the tree be included into the list of protected natural objects (the tree is in the process of being protected under the authority of the Ministry of Construction and Protection of the Environment).
